The Duma approved the tax amnesty
The bill on tax amnesty passed in the State Duma procedure for a second reading. When necessary 226 votes of 352 deputies voted for, 7 against and one abstention. The bill allows citizens to summarily declare their incomes. The document proposes to give citizens an opportunity to legalize their profits by paying 13% of the amount claimed. Receipt of payment will be considered as a document indicating the legalization of funds, and would be protected from the claims of tax authorities.
