Professor Takinashi sure that “Kobian” – this is the first robot that can express all the emotions of the body. According to him, the ability to express their feelings is “an important factor in achieving communication between robots and human beings.” Professor is also hoped that such robots could be used in future to help the elderly in nursing homes, in the home and garden.
So far, the robot is still being experienced sample and does not interact with people. Professor Takinashi noted that it may take several decades before robots, such as “Kobian” may be used by people for their own purposes. In the future, scientists hope to create such a robot, which will ultimately think and behave the same way as people.
