Intel will introduce the latest technologies in the Ukrainian education
The Ministry of Education and Intel Corporation will agree on applying the latest technologies in education.
This is stated in the press service of First Vice Prime Minister Alexander Turchynov, Ukrainian News reported.
First Vice-Premier meets with the Vice-President of Intel Corporation, John Davis, at which the parties discussed preparations for the signing of an agreement between the Ministry of Education and Intel, which provides a general introduction of the computerization of schools and relevant software in the educational process.
Turchynov confident that the joint program will quickly and effectively implemented.
“They will contribute to the qualitative change in attitudes to education and the transformation of world view in this regard”, – emphasized the First Vice-Premier.
The parties also discussed prospects for a joint ventures for the production of processors.
According to the press service of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Science and Education, Davis, and Intel representatives also met with the head of Vladimir Polohalo, which Davis pointed out that Ukraine has all the prerequisites for the introduction of innovative projects, particularly in the sphere of education and expressed hope for fruitful cooperation with the committee.
This Polohalo invited interlocutors in the near future to form a specific directions and ways of cooperation, in particular, welcomed the opportunity to introduce to the Ukrainian student programs and competitions that are held corporation in other countries, the winners of which receive grants or scholarships to continue their studies abroad.
Chairman of the Committee also invited representatives of the company in Ukraine to start a pilot project targeted for teachers and students with computers and communications, modeled on those projects which are successfully operating in France, Italy, Portugal, Spain, Russia.
