March 9, 2010 – 11:00 pm
More and more companies with incredible activity starts mass deploy 3D-technology in their screens and TVs. Just the other day event dedicated to announcements of new products, scheduled for Samsung and Panasonic, Sony is a little ahead of them and the first to submit information on their 3D TVs.
The monolithic design of televisions will be similar to that used in the series NX800, and in the line will be available models with diagonals 40, 46, 51 and 60 inches cost from $3200 to $6400. As new items embedded technology, which determines the distance from the TV to the viewer, and if someone sits too close to the screen than is likely to spoil your impression of the perception of images in 3D, then the device will warn you of this. If the audience left the room or for a long time turned away from the TV (which is determined by the presence of facial recognition capabilities), then the device will automatically go into standby mode, writes ITC.ua. Special glasses for viewing three-dimensional images are included, or they can be purchased separately for $130.
Recall that earlier company Samsung announced the beginning of mass production of 3D-panels, and Toshiba announced that it might even stop the production of LCD screens.
