Acer is preparing a laptop with a screen no frame

Corporation Acer will release a laptop with a screen without the frame and c touch keypad, writes Digitimes, citing sources from among notebook manufacturers.
It is assumed that Acer will use the strengthened glass in Corning as a substrate for the screen and simultaneously cover. For this purpose the outer surface of the glass will cause the black paint. Thus, the entire inner surface of the lid can be used under the screen.
The new solution will significantly reduce the thickness and weight of the device, as well as reduce costs.
The new laptop will be released in the second half of 2010, informs Lenta.Ru. Its value is unknown. Also Digitimes does not name the markets in which the device appears. Not officially confirmed by the very existence of such a project.
