Configuration EeePad not accurately known, but the tablet will be equipped with a webcam and USB-port. In addition, it will support Adobe Flash technology and is likely to be based on the Nvidia Tegra platform for mobile devices.

Estimated cost EeePad range from 475 to 505 dollars. Thus, EeePad is in the same price category as the tablet Apple iPad.

In the latter there is no USB-port or web-camera. This did not prevent the corporation within a few days to sell over half a million devices. By year end, Asus expects to sell 300,000 EeePad.
