In Bahrain, died Leader of the Opposition

In Bahrain, aged 67 years, died on the spiritual leader of the opposition, the famous Shiite figure, Sheikh Abdul Amir Al, transmits the Associated Press. In early 1990 he was one of the initiators of the campaign for political reform of the state authorities of the country. In recent years, Al has become the spiritual leader of Bahrain, the main opposition force-party “Al-Vefag.” At the parliamentary elections in November 2006, the Party won 17 seats in the 40-member parliament.
